Use This Daily Checklist to Stay Healthy While Traveling

A simple checklist can ensure you complete routine tasks everyday and reap the health benefits while you travel. 


I read The Checklist Manifesto last year when I was working on Wall Street and immediately applied what I learned to my career in finance.

The value of using a checklist is demonstrated by simplifying the overwhelming amount of information and complexity that is a reality of modern life.

When it comes to your health and fitness, particularly when traveling, it can be difficult to keep sight of what you should be doing on a daily basis. It can be even harder to hold yourself accountable and follow through with them day after day on the road.

A basic organizational tool, the simple checklist, can ensure you complete these routine tasks everyday and reap their health benefits. 

I put together a daily travel health checklist while on a recent trip and found that this method of organizing my daily health and fitness tasks into one clear list made it ten times easier to remember everything.

My goal was to not make a checklist that was too long or that covered too many different tasks. The point of the checklist is to simplify large amounts of information so I did my best to keep it simple.

The below checklist has seven things that you should do on a daily basis while traveling to keep yourself fit and healthy.

Use the checklist above while you travel. Print it out or save it to your phone or laptop and take it with you. After long days in meetings, airports, hotels and sightseeing, take a moment to go through the checklist and confirm that each task was completed that day.
